If you have made the switch from a PC to a Mac, you may have found that oftentimes you are unable to open Windows Media Files (wmv) and wind up with all of them stored in your downloads folder unable to be opened. In addition to the free download, there are many features that you can purchase for Flip4Mac, but they aren't necessary to simply play videos or clips. I highly recommend this free download to anyone who wants to play WMV files on QuickTime.

Good heads up for F4M. I think they've passed about 20 million downloads now for the free player. Plenty of new stuff going on there with other products too. I've been adding to this blog for a while now: http://flip4mac.blogspot.com/
Some of the other apps I like are, Rapidweaver, voodoo pad, iRatchet, and the little utility things; Fruit Menu and Windowshade by Unsanity.
